Praise

O Lord our God, You have sent Your Son Jesus to save us from our sins. Though Herod sought to kill Him when he murdered the babies of Bethlehem, You hid Jesus in the flight to Egypt and brought Him forth from there with power and might. You brought Him into the land of promise who is Himself the Son of Promise. From Him great light has sprung up among the Gentiles that the shadow of death would flee away. Great and mighty are Your works in Jesus Christ. We praise and hallow Your name, through Christ our Lord, in Whom we live and move and have our being. Amen.
