O Lord, our God, in the
beginning, You made all things of nothing. When there was nothing but void and
chaos and deep darkness, You created the Heavens and the Earth, with a Word. Your
Holy Spirit moved upon the face of the waters. You said, “Let there be light”
and there was light. Our Almighty God, and everlasting Father, Your words are
ever true. From the beginning, You revealed Your glory in all that You made and
it was all very good. You are the author of Truth, Beauty and Goodness and we
praise Your Holy Name. All glory be to You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
