Based on Isaiah 40
O, Lord God in Heaven, we praise and magnify Your Holy name.
We have known, we have heard, it has been told to us from the beginning, we
understand from whence comes the foundations of the earth. You sit upon the
circle of the Earth and the inhabitants are as grasshoppers. You stretch out
the heavens as a curtain and spread them out as a tent to dwell in. You bring
princes, presidents, congressman and supreme court justices to nothing, these rulers
of the earth to mere vanity. O, Lord, none is equal to You, who are the Holy
One. You created the sun and the moon and the stars and You know them all by
name. We magnify You, O Lord, our God. Amen.
