What
a blessing it is to be welcome into God’s presence, to be seated at the
pleasure of the Father, at the invitation of the Son, in the comfort of the
Holy Spirit.
We have spoken of our Holy God, who is
without sin and must deal with sin in a holy and just way. But thanks be to God
that He has done so in Jesus Christ so that we can come to this point in our
service where we see that there is therefore now no condemnation to those who
are in Christ Jesus.
Rom.
8:14-16 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the
spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of
God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…
So,
rest easy saints. The Lord Jesus bids you to His table. You are welcome to come
and eat and be filled and receive His blessing.
