Transforming Food

Gracious and Almighty God, we give You thanks for meeting us at this Table of Thanksgiving. We thank You for creating us, for calling us to Yourself, for sending Jesus to die for us, for sending Your Spirit to live with us, and for watching over us as a loving father watches over and protects his dear children. You are ever patient and gracious, slow to anger and quick to forgive. As we embrace Your Son in these elements of promise, transform into His image by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
