Christ's Bride

When Adam and Eve were living in the garden, it was Adam’s job to protect His bride in the garden. But he did not do so. Danger lurked and the serpent came subtly to insinuate lies in the heart and mind of Eve.

Adam did not protect his bride and therefore she ate food she should not have eaten. And she gave to her husband and he ate.

But Jesus is better than Adam. He gives His bride only food from the tree of life. His protection is everlasting and leads to eternal life. Here is the good food preserved for all those who belong in God’s garden, the body and blood of the Lord, given for you. Come and eat. Come and drink. And L'chaim, to life!
