In the Lord’s
Prayer we pray, ‘Give us this day our daily bread.’ I hope that all of you pray
this prayer every day and then break bread together as a family. Do you see what is going on? The Lord tells you what to pray so that you will pray in His
will. He also tells us that whatever we ask according to His will, we have
already been granted the request.
The Father promises to provide for you
for He is a good and kind Father. And His primary means of provision is His
only begotten Son and the Spirit whom He has sent. Jesus really is our daily
bread. If you have Him you have enough, not that you don’t need food to eat or
wine to drink. You do. But Jesus first then all things after. Do you have Our
Daily Bread? If you do, then you are full to overflowing.
