Bless You, Bless You

Every Lord’s Day we gather at this Table to eat and drink with God and His people. We know that God is treating us much better than we deserve and so we are full of gratitude.
We look around the room at others the Lord has blessed. Some of them have worked half as hard us and have been twice as blessed. What does this do to your soul?
If you belong to Jesus, it should bless you. You ought to be able to look around the room, particularly at those least deserving and be glad that they are the ones most blessed.

When you look around from brother to sister, the thought that should fill your heart and mouth is bless you, bless you, bless you, too, and you, and you, and especially you who deserved it the least and needed it the most. Bless you. Bless you.
