Vote.
In God's Providence, we in America hold the future in our hands. That is scary. Too whom much is given, much is required. And so we really can affect our futures for good or for ill. And our current state of affairs reveals how foolish we have been with this great responsibility.
I have no delusions about the Republicans being able to save us. Only Jesus can do that. And the Republicans, even the ones who are Christians, are afraid to act like Christians. They have been shamed into silence when it comes to right and wrong, good and evil, male and female.
Christians, mature Christians, speak the truth in love. They are willing, for instance, to say that Sodomy displeases God. It is sinful and God will hold us accountable for refusing to speak the truth. What Republican will say that killing babies displeases God? They have lost the argument by assuming, or at least only arguing, that it is all a matter of preference or of majority opinion. Can you find a politician these days who will say anything more than that he is traditional, or old fashioned or that the majority is opposed to such things? I am sure there are a few and God bless them!
Well God is not traditional, or old fashioned, and He is not too concerned about the majority. He speaks and His words are true, though every man be found a liar. Who will speak the truth?
But I get sidetracked. Vote was my point. At least our mostly traditional Republicans are somewhat willing to slow down our decay. I can vote for that.
If you feel compelled to vote third party or for a write in candidate that really has integrity, I have no problem with that. It is your right and is the tactic I have taken for the last 20 years or so on Presidential elections. But a vote for a Republican candidate who will resist the recent socialistic, egalitarian, redistributionist, executive order ruling Obamigarchs, would be a welcome vote.
Go vote.
