Corporate Prayer of Confession
Almighty and everlasting Father, we
acknowledge and confess that we are sinners, conceived and born in guilt, prone
to do evil, and unable of ourselves to do any heavenly good. We have
transgressed Your holy commandments and are worthy of Your condemnation. Forgive
us, O Lord, for the sake of Your Son Jesus Christ, and so remove our guilt and
sin and grant us the daily increase of the grace and power of Your Holy Spirit.
Amen.
