Bread and Wine

Our Father, we are in a season of rejoicing, particularly rejoicing at the table with family and friends, sharing good food and good wine. It is fitting that we learn how to rejoice first at this Table where we feast on Your greatest gift to us, the Lord Jesus, Himself. As we do so, grant us to be strengthened with might in the inner man by Your Holy Spirit. Renew a right Spirit within us and fill us with the exceeding great joy of our salvation, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
