Sometimes we encounter something that seems too good
to be true and it almost always is. Some advertising gimmick. A free vacation.
Almost always some level of fraud. Or at the very least, as bait and switch. We
are out of that item, here buy this one. It is always someone trying to take
you for a ride.
The Resurrection might seem like that. Death is
defeated? Life forever? Here, sign up right here. But the Resurrection is true
and not too good to be true. It is too true to be bad. The Lord Jesus is alive.
You are justified in His death and resurrection. You can stand before the Lord
forgiven, whole, hopeful and even happy. This is so true and so good. This is
the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
