We are in the second week of
Easter, the second week of Resurrection. In the church year, we celebrate
Easter for seven weeks until Pentecost when we celebrate the arrival of the
Holy Spirit in power. But in reality, not just in the re-enactment of the
church year, we celebrate Easter Resurrection and Pentecost Power every Sunday.
We are the church and we live in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The
same power that raised Christ from the dead has also raised you from the
humility of confession to the glory of forgiveness. And that confession and
forgiveness has endowed you with the grace and power to do all that God has
called you to do in Jesus Christ. That is the Easter Life.
