Dear Saints, the Holy Spirit has come in power at Pentecost. The Spirit
cuts deep, convicting us of sin and leading us to repentance, forgiveness,
reconciliation and re-creation. We are made new and He gives us signs of new
life.
Are you relieved at His forgiveness? Are you glad to
be among the saints to fellowship? Are you eager to hear God’s Word, to learn
it and glad to submit to it? Are you drawn to the Lord to pray to Him and seek
His wisdom and counsel? Do you look forward to breaking bread and eating with
God and His people in peace?
If so, be encouraged. These are signs
that the Spirit is active in your life. The Lord has called you, cut you,
forgiven you and healed you. There is peace.
