The Head of the Church

The Lord has made great promises to us individually and great promises to us corporately. Each of us lays hold of Christ by grace through faith. He saves us from our sins and establishes us in the Kingdom of Heaven. 

But He also makes promises to us as the body of Christ, His body. We are joined together with Christ as our Head. With Christ as the Head of the Church, no weapon formed against His body shall stand. The Church will be victorious in the Earth until the nations are all subdued beneath His feet. He has promised this and we see it in part. But we must continue to have faith until we see these things come to pass in history.

So, we celebrate our own salvation, the salvation of God’s people, and the salvation of the World that the Father loved so much that He gave His only Son to save it.
