Partakers of HIs Body

O, most Holy Father, with thanksgiving in our hearts we approach Your Table. We thank You for providing a way for us to sup with You through the obedience of Your Only Son. We thank You for inviting us to this Table to feed us spiritual food and drink. We thank You for assuring us of Your love as we eat with You, celebrating the victory of Jesus, with all of the saints that You have gathered through the ages and throughout the Earth. May we so partake of this food as to be made partakers of His body and blood, with all His benefits, to our spiritual nourishment and growth in grace. Amen.   

Thanksgiving

Our Father in Heaven, we give You thanks for Your manifold blessings to us. You have met our every need and we acknowledge that it is not we, ourselves, that sustain our lives, homes, or families. But, rather, You provide each day for us our daily bread. You uphold the world and all things therein by the strength of Your mighty power. Use our gifts, we pray, whether monetary, spiritual or physical, to glorify and honor the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and expand His Kingdom to the ends of the Earth. Amen.

Corporate Prayer of Confession

Almighty and everlasting Father, we acknowledge and confess that we are sinners, conceived and born in guilt, prone to do evil, and unable of ourselves to do any heavenly good. We have transgressed Your holy commandments and are worthy of Your condemnation. Forgive us, O Lord, for the sake of Your Son Jesus Christ, and so remove our guilt and sin and grant us the daily increase of the grace and power of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
